Continuously Transposed Conductor (CTC) Manufacturing Machine

The usage of a transposed conductor is much beneficial in making EHV transformers. As an import substitution activity, FES developed 31 strand CTC machine. A 100% forced back twisted cage ring and distribution disk allows force-free entry of strip into transposing head. Six-axis Cam operated transposing device which is duly driven by a Servo enables to operate machine for different widths and different speeds. Horizontal strip covering of 24 in total deployed for making CTC for different ratings of transformer.
